Ready, Aim, Fire!

Submittable is a great website for authors of all types to find places to submit their writing. Before I found this site, I didn't know what to do with my many short stories piling up in my desktop files, gathering digital dust.

Now I've submitted a few works through this website, and thus far, one has been picked up. I just put forth more tonight and have my fingers crossed. It can't hurt to put the work out there, right?
